Anita Barone

Barone performed the role of Gail Cunningham in The Shoes of Seinfeld season 4. She was a chef known as Elaine Benes who wanted shoes. Barone was one of the cast members on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was her ex-wife, Carol Willick Ross Geller on the show's first Friends appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show because she wanted to appear as a character with a bigger role, took her place. She was a part of The Jeff Foxworthy Show's first season in 1995-1996 and The War at Home, between 2005 and 2007. Barone co-starred alongside Daddio in the year 2000. Barone is also well-known for her television roles in Desperate homewives Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline, In the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. In 2004 Barone was the recipient of the 2005 Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award for her role in the feature film One Last Ride. Three years later, since The War at Home ended its run Barone started her role as a recurring character for the Disney Channel sitcom Shake It Up as officer Georgia Jones the mother of Bella Thorne's character CeCe Jones. Barone's husband actor Matthew Glave guest starred in two episodes of Shake It Up as J.J. Jones who was the husband of the character played by Barone.
