Abbie and Betty

Abbie Cornish (born 7 August 1982) is an Australian actor from Australia. Cornish is most well-known for her roles in films as Heidi in the film Somersault (2004). She also played Somersault (2004) Fanny Brawne in Bright Star (2009) Sweet Pea in Sucker Punch (2011) Lindy in Limitless (2011) Clara Murphy in RoboCop (2014) as Sarah in Geostorm (2017) and for her role with director Martin McDonagh in Seven Psychopaths (2012) and The Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri (2017). Cornish has won her very first Screen Actors Guild Award in the ensemble cast of this movie. Betty Gilpin.........................American actress Betty Gilpin was fortunate to have both of her parents be professional actors. Jack Gilpin, who starred in Adventureland and The Mothman Prophecies among other films, was her dad. Ann McDonough played the mother in the film. The love and support of her parents made the choice to go into acting an easy choice for the now young Betty Gilpin. Fordham College is where Betty Gilpin honed her skills. After graduating, Gilpin began performing in Off-Broadway plays while auditioning for TV and film roles. Gilpin was cast in a minor part on Ghost Town 2008 and The Northern Kingdom (2009). Also, she was a part of the NBC's Law & Order: Criminal Intent during 2001 to 2011. Gilpin continued to land mostly TV guest roles over the next couple of years until she received her first break in 2013, with a role as Nurse Jackie. Gilpin was a part of Nurse Jackie for 34 episodes as the character Dr. Carrie Roman Gilpin before the show ended on June 2015. Gilpin was also a part of the mystery thriller True Story (2015).
