Her conception took place on 29 March 1985 at Roswell located in the state of New Mexico. Gerina Michelle is her maiden name. Gerina Stevenson, the Mexican daughter of Rita Stevenson Stevenson and Alan Stevenson Stevenson, is born in Mexico. The mother of two is a Mexican by blood but has American citizenship. Ever since she was young she's always been keen on playing sports. Gerina started playing golf at the age of she reached the age of 15. Gerina was a student at Goddard High School for her secondary education. She was the winner of the New Mexico State Golf Tournament in her high school years. As well as playing volleyball, she also competed at an official level. 2003was the year she started her studies in The University of Texas. She took home all the competitions she participated in during her senior year. In her undergraduate year, she received the Conference USA's player of the year as well as UTEP Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
